the closest thing to a hometown show on the recent tour was the Hatfield Forum show. this opportunity was taken to do something with our mates at Action Aid, and give a little something back to this less fortunate than ourselves.

Blog: Some thoughts re: homophobia / music

Yesterday, the guitarist from ‘christian metalcore’ band For Today (a band Enter Shikari have previous toured the US alongside) made a series of offensive tweets of his thoughts on the ‘sin’ of homosexuality.
such statements should not be allowed to pass without being commented upon and having a light shone on them, and – thankfully – a lot of artists and journalists have spoken out against his comments.

Blog: the current US tour. some thoughts…

There has been a degree of gossip and tittle-tattle on the internet about the tour package we are currently part of here in the USA.
As much as we would prefer to stay out of this particular parade of tedious rumour-mongering, the amount of comments cluttering up our Facebook / Twitter etc has put us in a position where delivering some form of blanket statement in the hope of clarifying our own position seems like the better of whatever options are available to us, now that the “keep out of this” option has been removed from the table.
