thought some folks might be interested... for the Feb shows, there's going to be a brand new, upgraded, fancy-arse, custom-made polo shirt.
charcoal grey with black and white stripes on collar and sleeves.
lion embroidered in black on breast.
Enter Shikari embroidered in black on sleeve.
(now the fancy stuff...)
'St Albans Soul' buttons! (if you have a Fred Perry or Ben Sherman shirt... like that).
Lion tag in the collar.
and a neat little black trim in the 'V' at the bottom of each side.
these aren't off the shelf shirts that we've had embroidered... no, these are custom-made from scratch to our design and made by the folks at Continental especially for ES.
i've not clapped eyes on them myself... but Stuart at our merch company said they look s.w.e.e.t.
excited to see them in Blackpool on Saturday.
EDIT: I have one in my possession now, and they are indeed very very s.w.e.e.t.
UNFORTUNATELY... they cost a little more than the old back & red ones, because they cost us a lot more to make. probably be about £26 on the stall.
but they're gonna be super super nice. you will totally pick up loads of hot girls/guys in one of these.
EDIT: they look like.... THIS...
(obviously you can't see the 'V' detail at the bottom, or the St Albans Soul buttons... but they're there)
aside from them, there's also nice new shirts (which some of you will have seen some of on the Euro dates... but not all of them), including a new version of the 'Lion lyrics' shirt, but this time its Thumper instead of Fanfare, and they're on coloured shirts instead of black/white, and a bright new Lion Vs Snakes shirt designed by Gondek (who made the Juggernauts shirt). and a couple more designs too.
and there's a sweet woolly scarf (grey with black tassles and a big SOLIDARITY on one side and ENTER SHIKARI on the other in the greek font)... and, coffee mugs! hehe.
OH... and for the Blackpool show only, a special 'The Lions Are At The Seaside' shirt.
as always... please be aware that we ONLY sell official merch INSIDE the venue.
if anyone tries selling you anything before the show and says that its official and there's no merch inside, they're lying and trying to sell you shoddy bootleg shirts that'll potentially fall to bits with one wash.

Alright Ian.
Just where you mention the 'old' polo shirts, does that mean that there isn't going to be any more of these ? Just im still waiting on mie that I ordered in October(think it was october anyway on a pre-order) and the customer services haven't really said anything, just they need to wait on a new batch.

FUCKING GETTING ME A COFFEE MUG. :O can't really afford one of the posh polos, as nice as they are, think i'll just get me a standard one from the online store when they're back up.
as stupid as this might sound ian, is the scarf actually wool or is it polyester/cotton/acrylic? i can't wear wool and i'd rather ask on here than annoy the merch guy by getting him to check for me.

@Lottie - nah mate... they're acrylic.. so woolly and soft, but not wool... that would have cost a bomb to use.
@Jonneh - yes indeed... they're sort of like the black ones with the Fanfare lyrics lion on the back... except they're grey, with the Thumpoer lyrics lion on the back.
